Borders M.E. Group offers advice, support and social contact to anyone in the Scottish Borders area (and adjacent areas) who has M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis), chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia; and also to their carers and relatives. We know that friends matter, and we are here to share, to listen, to exchange information, and to be your voice. Here are Michelle's comments on how BMEG helped her:
'BMEG has been a tower of support for me and I've made great friends along the way too. I feel much stronger as a person now and much more able to cope with things, as I get so much support from people who actually know what I'm going through. It's the best thing I've done to help myself and has been an invaluable experience'.
Informal drop-in meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 12.00 to 3.00 in Garden Centres where you can meet people who know what it is like to have M.E., and where you can be sure to get a warm welcome. Dates and venues for April to September are

9 May: Mayfield Garden Centre, Kelso
13 June: Milestone Garden Centre, Newtown St. Boswell
11 July: Pearson's Garden Centre, Duns
